The Funicular is the most fun way to get up to
Mount Igueldo. It is the oldest in the Basque
Country and it's made up of some lovely red
wooden wagons.
The journey begins at the Station, one of the most
beautiful buildings in the city. The sights during
the ascension are truly extraordinary.
It's still working with equipment and vehicles
inaugurated on August 25, 1912.
